Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a diverse background in developing collaborative technology solutions. Since July 2010, Chris has worked at SMART Technologies, initially as a firmware engineer and currently as an electrical engineer, focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously, Chris served as an electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, where responsibilities included the design and repair of educational devices. Chris also worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting student labs and assessments, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, contributing to control systems for forestry industry machinery. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
