Josh Jimenez

Josh Jimenez has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry, focusing on safety engineering and product development. Josh started their career at the Center for Injury Research as a Senior Design and Test Engineer, where they analyzed injury mechanisms in crashes and developed innovative crash testing systems. Josh then joined Safety Engineering International as Director of Product Development, leading a team in designing and manufacturing truck and SUV structural retrofits for the oil, gas, and mining industry.

After that, Josh worked at Tesla as a Staff Passive Safety Engineer, where they played a key role in designing and implementing Tesla's full-scale crash facility and collaborated with engineering teams on the Model S and Model X passive safety systems.

Josh then joined Zoox Inc. as a Senior Researcher, leading company-wide efforts in developing safety metrics and goals for autonomous driving. Josh also served as the Vehicle Safety Lead, leading the concept and design of vehicle safety architecture and working on various safety-related development projects with third-party engineering.

Currently, they hold the position of Director of Hardware Integration at Teleo, where they are responsible for overseeing the integration of hardware components into the company's product offerings.
