Assen Tzekin

Assen Tzekin is a highly experienced design professional currently serving as Principal Product Designer at OfficeRnD since November 2021, where responsibilities include leading the development of a new design system and supporting a lean design team. Tzekin has also been a Sr. Product Designer and Guest Lecturer at Telerik Academy since September 2021, sharing valuable insights with aspiring designers. As the Founder of tzekin design studio since 2011, Tzekin has a strong entrepreneurial background, complemented by previous roles at SAP as a Senior User Experience Designer and New Venture Software as a Founding Partner. Early design experience includes a tenure at Telerik, where Tzekin established the first logo guidebook, among other initiatives, and a role as an Official Freelancer for Adobe during the CS4 launch event in Bulgaria. Tzekin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Communications from the University for the Creative Arts and Alberta University of the Arts.
