Mika Tonder

Mika Tonder has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mika is currently working as a HW Designer at Teleste since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Electrical Design Engineer at Comatec Automation Oy from April 2020 to October 2021, where they were responsible for electronics designing, testing, documentation, and customer project management. Mika also provided sales support. Before that, Mika worked at Comatec Group as an Electrical Design Engineer from May 2019 to April 2020, where they performed similar responsibilities.

Mika has also worked at Microsoft as a Project Manager, Memories from April 2014 to December 2015. Mika'sduties included co-creating mass storage memory components for smartphones, project management, testing, and production approvals. Mika also conducted SD card performance and interface measurements.

Prior to their time at Microsoft, Mika had a long tenure at Nokia. Mika worked as a Project Manager, Memories from June 2011 to April 2014, where they continued to focus on memory component co-creation, project management, testing, and production approvals. Mika also represented Nokia in the SD Association. Before that, they were a Senior Engineer from July 2007 to June 2011, where they focused on mass storage memory development and testing for phone programs. Additionally, they worked as a Design Engineer from March 2002 to July 2007, primarily as a PCB designer for various phone programs.

Mika began their professional career at Vaisala, where they worked as a Thesis Worker from February 2001 to August 2001 and as a Trainee from June 1999 to December 1999.

Mika Tonder completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Helsingin Ammattikorkeakoulu Stadia. This education took place from 1998 to 2001. In addition, Mika obtained a Prince2 Foundation certificate in Project Management in June 2016. The institution from which this certification was obtained is not specified.
