Michael W.

Michael W. has a diverse work experience. Michael began their career as an Auditor at BDO South Africa in 2000 and worked there until 2002. Michael then joined the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity as a Forensic Accountant for a brief period in 2003. In 2004, Michael joined Centrica Energy, where they worked as a Finance Manager from 2004 to 2007 and as an Asset Book Manager from 2007 to 2009. In 2011, they held multiple roles simultaneously, including being a Teacher at St John's College, a Consultant at Adept Advisory, and the Commercial Head - Banking and Insurance at Lightstone Pty Ltd. Michael worked at Lightstone Pty Ltd as the Commercial Head - Banking and Insurance until October 2018. Since November 2018, they have been the Head of Data and Analytics at Telesure Investment Holdings (TIH).

Michael W. earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 1998. In 2000, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from the same institution. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2004 to 2007. In 2009, they attended UCL and completed a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics. Finally, from 2011 to 2015, they studied at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika and obtained a PGCE degree in Education.
