Kate Marshall has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Kate started their career at Swinburne University of Technology as an HR Project Manager/HR Business Partner. Kate then moved on to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), where they held various HR roles including Senior HR Advisor, Workplace Relations Manager, Victorian HR Manager, Senior Manager Program Management Office, Deputy Director HR, and Head Organisation Development. Kate's responsibilities at ABC included driving cultural change, leading projects, providing HR advice and solutions, and managing employee engagement. After their tenure at ABC, they joined nbn™ Australia as a Senior HR Business Partner and later became the Senior Manager Transformation, Strategic Services. Their role at nbn™ Australia involved facilitating enterprise transformation, delivering impactful initiatives, and supporting workforce change and transformation projects. Currently, Kate is working at Telstra Health as a Senior HR Business Partner (People Lead).
Kate Marshall has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Monash University, which they obtained from 1991 to 1994. Kate later completed a Postgraduate Diploma of Journalism from RMIT University in 1995. In 2000 to 2003, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration from Swinburne University of Technology. Additionally, they have certifications in Business Agility Foundations from ICAgile and Change Immersion from Agile Change Leadership Institute, both received in 2022. Kate also holds the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., obtained in May 2021.
