Kasey C.

Kasey C. has extensive work experience in compliance and government relations in the cannabis industry. They began their career at Temescal Wellness in 2017 and worked their way up to the role of Director of Compliance. In this position, they were responsible for building and managing the Compliance Department, ensuring good compliance standings with state cannabis regulators and other regulatory bodies. They also served in a government relations capacity, working with regulators and testifying publicly to regulatory changes. Prior to their role at Temescal Wellness, Kasey C. gained experience in emergency psychiatric evaluation and crisis intervention as a Full Time Emergency Services Clinician at the Center for Life Management and as a Per Diem Crisis Team Specialist at North Shore Medical Center. They also worked as a Clinical Outpatient Intern at Arbour Counseling Services, where they carried a caseload, conducted assessments and therapy, and co-led support groups. Kasey C. started their career as a Brand Representative at Justice, where they conducted sales transactions and provided customer service. They also gained experience as a Student Intern at Great Bay Services and as a Camp Wildcat Counselor at the University of New Hampshire.

Kasey C. completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine, from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, Kasey C. earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire, from 2009 to 2013. In addition to these degrees, Kasey C. obtained three certifications: NH ANSA and NH CANS in July 2015, and Massachusetts CANS from the Massachusetts Children's Behavioral Health Initiative in January 2015.
