David Pinckard

VP of Product Management and Strategy at Tempo Software

David Pinckard has a comprehensive work experience in various leadership roles in the software industry.

Starting with their current role at Tempo Software as the VP of Product Management and Strategy, David oversees the development of road mapping, project management, time management, and productivity tools for software developers and product managers. David also manages a large customer base of over 20,000 clients globally.

Prior to Tempo Software, David served as the VP of Product Management and Strategy at ALM Works, which was eventually acquired by Tempo Software. At ALM Works, David worked with notable clients such as NASA, Google, Adobe, Intel, Sony, Disney, Netflix, Toyota, and Twitter.

From 2016 to 2021, David worked for Tripwire, where they handled SaaS, on-premise, and industrial product lines.

Before that, David was the Chief Product Officer and Partner at LDE from 2009 to 2021.

From 2007 to 2009, David held the position of Senior Director of Product at Autodesk.

David also served as the Vice President of Unifaz from 2004 to 2007, and as the Vice President of Product at Merant from 2002 to 2004.

David's earlier experience includes being the CEO and Co-founder of Upright Systems, a venture-backed startup that developed SaaS infrastructure for application management. Upright Systems was eventually acquired by a cloud service provider.

At Tektronix, David held multiple positions including VP & GM Network Displays, VP of Global Engineering, VP & GM, and Director of Global Marketing from 1994 to 1999.
