Matthew Crenson

SVP at Ten Bridge Communications

Matthew Crenson is the Senior Vice President at Ten Bridge Communications. Matthew has over 20 years of experience in scientific and healthcare communications. Prior to joining Ten Bridge Communications, they were the Editor in Chief for the Element scientific communications team at Weber Shandwick. In this role, they oversaw content creation for a broad range of biopharma and medical clients. Their work centered on the scientific basis for drugs and devices in development, as well as technologies for discovering, developing and delivering treatments such as CRISPR and AI.

Before joining Weber Shandwick, Matthew was the US Chief of Correspondents at Nature Publishing Group. In this role, they were responsible for providing content strategy, narrative development and messaging for biopharma clients as well as a broader range of science- and healthcare-driven organizations. Matthew also served as a resource for scientific communication throughout the Weber Shandwick network, assisting offices around the US and internationally.

Earlier in their career, Matthew was the Managing Editor at Science News, where they oversaw all aspects of the editorial process, from story assignment and editing to layout and design. Matthew also served as the Communications Director at the International Council on Clean Transportation, where they managed all aspects of internal and external communications.

Matthew Crenson has a MS in Hydrology from Yale University and a BS in Geology-Biology from Brown University.
