Yusong Hu

Yusong Hu is an accomplished professional in the fields of data mining and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Researcher at Tencent since September 2017, focusing on WeChat Pay. Prior to this role, Yusong worked as a Research Scientist at GroupM, specializing in computational advertising and recommendation systems, and as a Data Scientist at NTU-Delta Corporate Lab, addressing real-world industrial challenges through document mining and natural language processing. Yusong holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, where research involved high-efficiency signal processing algorithms, and served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Southern California, working on parallel architectures for machine learning algorithms. Education includes a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
