Chester G.

Chester G. has extensive experience in various educational and leadership roles. Chester served as the Director of the Accessible Education Center at Tennessee Technological University, where they ensured campus accessibility for students with disabilities. Prior to that, they held positions at Roane State Community College, Crossville Christian School, Currey Ingram Academy, and White County High School, where they focused on inclusive student services, faculty training, and community outreach. Chester also worked as the Director of Special Projects for a U.S. Congressman.

Chester G. completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Education: Communications & Theater from Tennessee Technological University in 1998. Chester then earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Instructional Leadership from the same university in 2000. Chester continued their education by obtaining a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands in 2013. Prior to this, they pursued General Transfer studies in Education: English, theater, and communications at Roane State Community College from 1990 to 1994. Chester also engaged in Theater Studies focusing on acting and stagecraft at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1995 to 1996. Chester holds additional certifications as a Licensed School Administrator and Teacher PreK-12, a Licensed Teacher K-12, 7-12, and a Licensed Teacher of Special Education Modified K-12, all recognized by the State of Tennessee.
