Jon Takahashi

Jon Takahashi is in his fourth season as a full-time member of the team's athletic training staff in 2019, and 22nd overall working with the club in conjunction with the team's partner hospital program.

A native of Loomis, Calif., Jon graduated and obtained his Athletic Training degree from CSU, Sacramento. While at Sacramento State, he interned with the Sacramento Surge in the World Football League, the Sacramento Gold Miners in the Canadian Football League and the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League.

After leaving Sacramento, Jon worked a summer with the New York Giants before attending Michigan State University, where he worked with the football, soccer and lacrosse teams. After leaving Michigan State, he interned one season with the Detroit Lions.

In 1997, Jon obtained a position with Baptist Hospital Sports Medicine as an athletic trainer for the Tennessee Oilers/Titans. Jon has also worked with local high schools in Nashville through Baptist's Outreach Program. In June of 2016, Jon was hired on full time as an assistant athletic trainer for the Titans.

In his spare time, he volunteers his athletic training services to Special Olympics, Tennessee. Jon is married (Meg) and has two daughters (Anna & Abby).
