Beau Scott has extensive work experience in various human resources roles. Beau started their career in 2002 as an Accounting Clerk at Denark Construction, Inc. Later, they became the Benefits Administrator and then the Human Resources Manager at the same company, where they managed the HRIS system and implemented positive changes in healthcare plans. In 2011, they briefly worked as a Senior HR Generalist at Nyrstar Tennessee Mines. From 2011 to 2014, Beau worked at Tennessee Valley Authority, initially as a Senior Analyst in Employee Benefit Plans and later as a Program Manager in Benefit Plans, overseeing various employee programs. Beau then served as the Sr. Program Manager in HR Operations from 2014 to 2016, leading HR transformation projects. From 2016 to 2018, Beau was the Senior Advisor to the Chief Human Resources Officer at TVA, working on strategic initiatives. Beau then held various managerial roles, including Director of Business HR (interim), Senior Manager of HR Business Partnerships for COO, and Senior Manager of Business Human Resources for Corporate. Currently, Beau is the Director of Talent Management at Tennessee Valley Authority, where they are responsible for career development and succession planning for employees.
Beau Scott holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from the University of Tennessee at Martin, which was obtained between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Management at Tusculum University, from 2007 to 2010. Furthermore, Beau Scott has not provided any information regarding their education at The College of Idaho. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications throughout the years, including the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) in 2017 and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 2006.
