Neelanjan Patri

Neelanjan Patri has an extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Neelanjan started their career as a Technical Team Lead at Tata, where they played a vital role in the design and implementation of IT management solutions. Neelanjan then worked as a Technical Lead at Coopers & Lybrand, where they developed software for student registration and selection programs and implemented enterprise reporting solutions.

After that, Neelanjan served as the owner of NVT Consulting Services, providing software design and development support for various consulting and business entities. Neelanjan developed utilization management software for a non-profit organization and created a consolidated work management solution for TPS using MAXIMO and EMPAC.

Neelanjan then became a partner at Cartsoft, LLC, where they provided leadership and technical guidance in developing Utilization Management software for the healthcare industry. Neelanjan also built strategic partnerships and alliances to develop innovative products.

In their role as Director of Environmental Technologies & Sustainability and later as General Manager of Business Operations at Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Neelanjan governed the enterprise Environmental Technology group and Sustainability Program. Neelanjan defined the Environmental Technology portfolio, identified and justified projects, and oversaw sustainability systems and performance.

Neelanjan then took on various senior management positions at TVA, such as Manager of Environmental System & Operations Support and Senior Manager of Enterprise Architecture/Senior Service Manager of Operations Support. Neelanjan turned around underperforming IT architecture and operational support areas, developed IT plans for each business unit, and standardized governance, tools, and reporting.

In their most recent role at TVA, Neelanjan served as Operations Technology, Data & Analytics, Strategic Operation Solutions, COO, where they managed and leveraged technology and data analytics to digitize and improve efficiencies in operations. Neelanjan designed and developed self-service solutions and used real-time and static data to enable data-based decision making.

Throughout their career, Neelanjan has demonstrated expertise in IT strategy, enterprise analytics, business intelligence, and data governance. Neelanjan has a track record of transforming organizations and driving business outcomes through the strategic use of technology and data.

Neelanjan Patri completed an MBA in the TVA Executive MBA Program at Vanderbilt University from 2007 to 2008. Neelanjan also obtained a B.E degree in Electronics & Communication from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka from 1985 to 1989. Additionally, they have completed various certifications, including Dare to Lead Trained in 2022, Bell Leadership Institute - Achievers I in 2015, The Strategic Leader in 2013, ITIL Service Strategy in 2013, ITIL Foundation Course in 2012, and The Looking Glass Experience in 2012. Neelanjan has also completed Leading Strategically certification, although the year is not specified.
