Scott Turnbow, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Scott started their career in 1993 as a Mechanical Engineer at Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Scott then progressed through various positions at TVA, including Lead Engineer/Supervisor and Manager of Technical Support Services. In these roles, they were responsible for reverse engineering, steam turbine redesign, and flow optimization, as well as managing teams and providing support to Hydro and Fossil power divisions. Scott also served as Maintenance and Engineering Manager at Widows Creek, where they oversaw maintenance activities for multiple coal-fired generating units. From 2010 to 2014, they held the position of Senior Manager, Civil Engineering at TVA, leading projects related to Coal Combustion Products Operational Strategy. More recently, Scott worked at the Ziglar Performance Group as an Independent Representative, motivational speaker, and performance coach.

Scott Turnbow, PhD has an education history that includes an MBA in Finance from Auburn University (1997-2000), a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Leadership from Carolina University (2015-2019), and a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (1989-1995).
