Kaviarasan Murthy

Kaviarasan Murthy has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management.

Kaviarasan began their career as a Quality Assurance Engineer at DRILL JIG BUSHING CO (MADRAS) PRIVATE LIMITED in April 2010. In this role, they conducted internal audits and inspections, raised non-conformance reports (NCRs), maintained documentation, conducted trainings, prepared procedures, and ensured compliance with quality management system standards until January 2014.

From January 2014 to December 2015, Kaviarasan worked as a QHSE Engineer at Trans Gulf Electro Mechanical, where they focused on managing QHSE activities, maintaining system documents, developing procedures and formats, and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and client representatives regarding quality and HSE requirements.

Next, from February 2016 to October 2019, they served as a QHSE Manager at STREAMLINE ELECTROMECHANICAL WORKS LLC. As the manager, they oversaw the entire organization's QHSE management activities. Some of their responsibilities included conducting internal audits, setting and reviewing QHSE objectives, preparing hazard identification and risk assessment studies, and reporting to the general manager.

More recently, Kaviarasan joined Centena Group in November 2019. Kaviarasan initially worked as an Assistant Manager in the QHSE department and was later promoted to the role of Manager in July 2021. Their primary responsibilities in this position include overseeing QHSE operations within the company.

Kaviarasan Murthy completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, graduating in 2010. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including NEBOSH IGC from NEBOSH in August 2022, Internal Auditor (IMS) ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015 from Bureau Veritas Group in July 2022, and IOSH Managing Safely from IOSH in April 2022. Kaviarasan also holds certifications in ISO 9001: 2015 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification from BSI in October 2017, ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification from BSI in May 2015, Internal Auditor (ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001) from TÜV Rheinland Middle East in December 2014, and ASNT NDT Level II (UT, MPT, RT, LPT) from ASNT (The American Society for Nondestructive Testing) in March 2011.
