Cindy Y.

Cindy Y. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Cindy is currently the Head of Carbon at tentree since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at veritree as the Director of Strategy from March 2023 to present. Cindy was also the Director of Development at veritree from June 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining veritree, Cindy held positions at RESET Carbon Ltd. from November 2014 to June 2021. Cindy served as the Director of Projects from March 2018 to June 2021 and as a Principal Consultant - Sustainability & Carbon Management from November 2014 to March 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Consultant at RESET Carbon Ltd. from July 2014 to October 2014.

Cindy also has experience in academia as a Part-Time Lecturer at The University of Hong Kong from February 2021 to May 2021.

Cindy began their career at Energenz Consulting Ltd as a Senior Sustainability Consultant from June 2013 to June 2014, and prior to that, they worked as an Energy and Sustainability Consultant at the same company from June 2011 to June 2013.

Cindy also has experience as an Environmental and Energy Consultant at Envantage Ltd from June 2009 to February 2011, where they acted as an account manager for clients.

Cindy obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Environment and Climate Change from the University of Liverpool, graduating with distinction in 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biological Sciences, with a focus on Environmental Biology, Environmental Toxicology, and Ecology, also at the University of Liverpool. Cindy completed their undergraduate studies in 2007.
