Arturo Paiva Mediavilla

Arturo Paiva Mediavilla has a diverse work experience in the field of animation. In 2013, they started working as a Creature Animator at 237np, where they stayed until April 2014. Following this, they joined U-tad as an Associate Professor in February 2013, and they continued in this role until 2015.

In 2015, Arturo joined Blue Dream Studios Spain as a Rigging Artist, working with Maya, until July 2016. Simultaneously, they also worked as a 3D Artist at Zinkia Entertainment from July to October 2016.

In October 2016, Arturo moved on to El Ranchito, where they worked as a 3D Animation, Layout Artist, and Mocap Supervisor using Motion Builder until July 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Professor in Master of Advanced 3D Digital Animation at Universidad de Salamanca from January 2016 to February 2017.

Afterwards, Arturo joined 3 Doubles Producciones as a Rigging Artist using Maya from October 2017 to January 2018. In September 2018, they returned to Tequila Works as a Lead Animator and Technical Animator, where they worked until June 2019.

Since September 2017, Arturo has been working as an Associate Professor at U-tad, and they will continue in this role until July 2021. Currently, they are serving as an Animation Director at Tequila Works, starting from October 2019.

Arturo Paiva Mediavilla obtained a Licenciado en Arte degree in Animacion 3D, modelado 3D, Ilustracion, Artes plásticas from the Universidad de Salamanca. In addition, they obtained certifications in Autodesk: From Mudbox to Maya 2010 from Autodesk, Car Bass, and Motion builder 2010 Animation Workflows from Autodesk. Arturo also attended a course called New in maya 2011, but the year of obtaining this certification is unknown.
