Jamila Cornick

Jamila Cornick has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a package handler at UPS in 2012. Jamila then moved on to become a Shipping Clerk/ Sales assistant at Belladonna* in 2013. In 2014, Jamila began working at Best Buy as a Canon Brand Expert and Inventory Specialist. In 2016, they were promoted to Asset Protection Specialist. In 2017, they moved to a dual role as Geek Squad and Consultant. In 2018, Jamila began working at RealSelf as a Software Developer and Software Engineer Internship. Jamila also attended Ada Developers Academy as a Student in 2018. Currently, Jamila is working as a Software Engineer at tEQuitable and tEQitable.

Jamila Cornick completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology at Queens College from 2013 to 2014. Jamila then went on to obtain a Full Stack JavaScript Certification from Treehouse and a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp in 2018. In 2017, Jamila obtained a CIW Web Application Development Fundamentals Certification from StrideCenter. In 2013, they also attended Naropa University's Summer Writing Program as a Zora Neale Hurston Scholarship recipient.
