Michel Perez Puentes

Michel Perez Puentes is a software engineer with a diverse work experience in several companies. Michel began their career at Ecociclus S.A.S in 2013 as a Software Architect before moving on to YCS Consulting in 2014 as a Ruby Software Developer. In the same year, they also worked as a Software Architect at FLUVIP - Influence MarketingSO.

In 2015, Michel joined World Tech Makers as a Ruby Senior Instructor, followed by positions at BairesDev as a Desarrollador Ruby and at Stack Builders as a Software Developer.

From 2015 to 2019, Michel worked at Liftit, starting as a Tech Lead before becoming the Chief Technology Officer. Michel then served as the Principal Software Architect and AI Lead before transitioning to BairesDev in 2020 as an Elixir Senior Developer. Michel held this role until 2022.

Michel's most recent work experience is at Terminal, where they currently work as a Software Engineer, starting in March 2023.

Michel Perez Puentes started their education journey in 2004 at Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander where they pursued a degree in Ingeniero de sistemas (Systems Engineering). Michel completed their degree in 2010.

In 2012, Michel attended Universidad de Los Andes and obtained a Specialist degree in Construcción de software (Software Construction).

Apart from their formal education, Michel also earned additional certifications. In October 2012, they obtained the ITIL V3 certification from INDUDATA SAS. In August 2012, they also achieved the Java Certified Developer certification from Oracle.
