Lois Lee

Lois Lee has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Lois is currently a Senior Director of Clinical Research at Terns Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Clinical Development at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from November 2020 to September 2021. Lois also held various roles at Intercept Pharmaceuticals, including Director of Clinical Research for NASH from July 2017 to November 2020, and Principal Scientist of Clinical Research from June 2015 to June 2017. Before that, they worked as a Medical Communications Manager at Wesley Enterprise, Inc. from 2013 to May 2015. Lois was also a Medical Science Liaison for Viral Hepatitis at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2010 to 2013. Their previous experience includes roles as a Clinical Pharmacology Scientist at Roche Pharmaceuticals from March 2007 to December 2009, a Clinical Scientist at Bristol-Myers Squibb from July 2005 to March 2007, and a Clinical Pharmacology Fellow at Bassett Healthcare from July 2003 to June 2005. Lois started their career as a Pharmacy Resident at the University of Illinois at Chicago from July 2002 to June 2003.

Lois Lee earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they attended from 1993 to 1997. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University, graduating from 1998 to 2002.
