Daniel Perea has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Daniel started their career at Glass Technology Investments in 2001, where they served as the Legal Compliance Officer. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring compliance with shareholder agreements, internal regulations, and corporate policies across multiple countries. Daniel reported directly to the CEO.

In 2003, Daniel joined GlaxoSmithKline Colombia S.A. as the Gerente Asuntos Legales. Their main responsibilities included safeguarding the company's legal interests, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and providing legal advice to different departments. Daniel reported directly to the Gerente General in Colombia and had a dotted line to the Gerente Legal Regional in Costa Rica and the VP Legal of the Zone in the United States.

In 2006, they moved to Organización Terpel S.A. and held various positions. Daniel first served as the VP Legal and then as the VP Asuntos Corporativos y Legales. In these roles, they reported directly to the President of the company and oversaw multiple departments across Latin America, Colombia, Chile, and Panama. Daniel had corporate and multipath responsibilities for several countries including Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Chile, Mexico, and others.

Daniel Perea has a diverse education history. Daniel completed their Senior Management Program (SMP) at IE Business School in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their MBA from EADA Business School from 2011 to 2013. Daniel also completed the MIL - Master Internacional en Liderazgo at EADA Business School in 2013. Before pursuing their business studies, Daniel studied Derecho Comercial at Universidad de Los Andes from 2002 to 2003. Daniel also earned a degree in Derecho Administrativo from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from 1999 to 2000. Daniel's educational journey began with a five-year program at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they earned their degree in Abogado (Law) in 1997, specializing in Derecho (Law).
