Shu-Nong Wu

Shu-Nong Wu has worked in various roles in the engineering field since 2015. In that time, they have held positions at TerraClear Inc (2021), Boeing (2019-2021), RPI Rock Raiders (2018), Eaton - Lighting (2018), Corning Incorporated (2018), Rensselaer Electric Vehicle (2017-2018), TD Tech (2017), and Bolome (2015). At TerraClear Inc, they worked as a Robotics Engineer. At Boeing, they were an Autonomous Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for software architecture design, hardware in the loop lab integration, and tool development for computer vision algorithms for Autonomous Air to Air Refueling (A3R). At RPI Rock Raiders, they were a Project Manager, where they were the Technical Lead for an interdisciplinary robotics team. At Eaton - Lighting, they were an Embedded Software Engineering Intern, where they wrote software for a host card, which enabled DMX communication on the company's next generation lighting fixtures. At Corning Incorporated, they were a Capstone Student: Computer Engineer, where they worked in a multidisciplinary team of 8 engineers to complete a semester long capstone project. At Rensselaer Electric Vehicle, they were a Lead Electrical Engineer, where they managed a team of over 15 members spanning across three projects. At TD Tech, they were a Software Engineering Intern, where they worked on a project that deploys and installs software onto a cloud server. Finally, at Bolome, they were a Software Engineering Intern, where they were responsible for API-testing and Python Scripting.

Shu-Nong Wu attended North Hunterdon High School from 2010 to 2014. Shu-Nong then went on to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computers and Systems Engineering in 2018. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Robotics, which they completed in 2019.
