Chris Amani

Chris Amani has extensive work experience in various financial and leadership roles. Chris is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Terraform Labs, a position they have held since April 2023. Before this, Chris was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Terraform Labs from January 2022 to July 2023.

Prior to joining Terraform Labs, Chris served as the Senior Vice President of Product, M&A, and Partnerships at TCP Software from January 2021 to January 2022. Earlier in their career, they were the CEO of Humanity, which was later acquired by TCP. Chris held the role of CEO at Humanity from June 2018 to December 2020. Before becoming CEO, Chris was the COO of Humanity from January 2018 to June 2018. Chris also served as the Vice President of Finance, Analytics, Growth, and Operations at Humanity from June 2015 to January 2018.

Chris gained valuable experience at prominent companies such as MongoDB, Zynga, Electronic Arts, and Walmart.com. Chris held the position of Director of FP&A at MongoDB from May 2013 to June 2015. At Zynga, they worked as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis from February 2011 to April 2013. Chris was an FP&A Manager at Electronic Arts from 2008 to 2011. Chris began their career as a Financial Analyst at Walmart.com from 2004 to 2007.

Chris Amani attended the University of Arkansas from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued a degree in Business with a focus on Accounting. In 2008, they enrolled at San Jose State University and obtained an MBA, although the field of study was not provided. Additionally, Chris has obtained several certifications, including a Front End Web Developer certification from Udacity in March 2023, React Basics certification from Coursera in December 2022, Programming with JavaScript certification from Coursera in December 2022, and a Data Warehousing for Business Intelligence Specialization certification from Coursera Course Certificates in May 2016.
