Istvan Hauer

Istvan Hauer has worked as a Mechanical Engineer since 2008. In 2008, they began working for Lexitek Inc. In 2009, they joined HauerHelicopter, a start-up company for the production of large size radio controlled helicopter platforms for hobby and industrial applications. In 2010, they worked for General Compression as a Mechanical Engineer, where they designed a 4MW air-compressor for utility scale energy storage and performed finite element analysis of designed components and structures. Since 2013, they have been working for Terrafugia as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where their scope of work includes vehicle related engineering tasks such as design and analysis of composite structures, flight critical components, and vehicle suspension. Istvan also manages vendors and teams.

Istvan Hauer obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University between 2006 and 2010.
