James Ladtkow

Director, Technology Partnerships at Terumo BCT

James Ladtkow has over 30 years of work experience in engineering and development roles. James started their career as a Project Engineer at Pfizer's hospital products group, Valleylab, from 1990 to 1996. After that, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Circon Surgitek for a year before joining Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies (formerly CaridianBCT) as a Senior Engineer in 1997. At Terumo, they were involved in the development of medical devices and played a key role in advancing the company's technologies. In 2015, they became the Engineering Director of Advanced Technologies and Materials, where they led a team responsible for inspiring innovation and evaluating new technologies for further development. Currently, James holds the position of Director, Freeze Dried Blood Product Development at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies.

James Ladtkow completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued an MBA in Business Administration, Management, and Operations at Colorado Christian University from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, they also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1986 to 1990.
