Paula Thompson

Paula Thompson joined Tervita in 2018 and was appointed Vice President, People & Culture in 2021. Paula has a 20-plus year career in Human Resources, working in most Canadian provinces, the U.S., Europe and the Middle East for companies that include Veritas/CGG (geophysical services), Packers Plus (downhole tools), Superior Propane, Delta Hotels and a high-tech division of 3M.

Paula has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, supplemented by attending the High Potential Managers Program at Ivey School of Business, a mini MBA from the University of British Columbia and certificates in Adult Learning, Situational Leadership and Labour Relations.
