Senior Researcher - Middle East And Central Asia at Tesla Government

Nicholas Brumfield has a diverse range of work experience. Nicholas currently serves as a Senior Researcher for the Arabian Peninsula team at Tesla Government Inc. In this role, they conduct research and produces open-source products on political, military, and humanitarian developments in Yemen.

Prior to that, Nicholas worked as a Writer and Social Media contributor for expatalachians.com, where they authored articles on various topics such as politics, history, society, culture, and the environment.

Nicholas has also worked as a Consultant for the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies, where they contributed to the development of a supplementary curriculum on Political Islam for US public schools.

Additionally, Nicholas served as the Executive Assistant to the Founder and International Director at Questscope. In this position, they managed the Director's correspondence, calendar, and contacts, as well as developed an administrative system to track and prioritize projects.

Furthermore, they have experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgetown University's Government Department and as a Peer Tutor at the ELIP Writing Center.

Nicholas began their professional career as an Individuals and Communities at Risk Intern for Amnesty International USA, where they conducted research on Iraq's use of the death penalty and participated in demonstrations.

Nicholas Brumfield pursued their education by first attending Ohio University from 2011 to 2015. There, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in Political Science and Global Studies, with a specific focus on War and Peace. Following this, Nicholas furthered their studies at Georgetown University from 2015 to 2017. During this time, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree with a specialization in Arab Studies.
