Alireza Goshtasbi

Alireza Goshtasbi is an accomplished engineer specializing in algorithms and systems modeling, currently serving as a Staff BMS Algorithms and Architecture Engineer at Tesla since April 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a Staff Algorithm and Modeling Engineer and Senior Systems Modeling Engineer at Joby Aviation, as well as a Research Engineer at Ford Motor Company. Alireza's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Science in Mathematics, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, all obtained from the University of Michigan, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Shiraz University. Throughout the educational journey, Alireza also contributed as a Graduate Student Research Assistant, Graduate Student Instructor, and Research Associate.
