Position Summary:

The Quality Control Lead will be responsible for implementing compendia and total organic carbon methods for internal GMP testing at Tessera. We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is comfortable multitasking and working both independently and cross-functionally. This is a 6-month contract with the ability to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning of compendia method and total organic carbon method implementation within Tessera QC laboratories
  • Lead authoring of method implementation documentation including equipment qualification and method verification protocols and reports
  • Perform verification studies within Tessera QC laboratories

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree and 5+ years of related experience, or Master's degree and 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience in Quality Control roles supporting GMP testing/manufacturing of gene therapy or gene editing products, ATMPs or equivalent
  • Experience with performance of compendia and total organic carbon testing in Quality Control
