Kamal Mirtalaei

Kamal Mirtalaei, PhD, PE, SE, is an accomplished structural engineer and educator with extensive experience in both academia and industry. As the owner of Arizona Structural Design & Inspections since 2007, Kamal has focused on teaching Mechanics and Construction subjects. Additionally, since 2004, Kamal has been a PE/EIT instructor at Test Masters, teaching Structures, Construction, Mechanics, and Dynamics. Previous roles include Engineering Program Manager at the Arizona Department of Transportation for nearly two decades and Visiting Research Scholar at Arizona State University, specializing in concrete materials. Kamal's academic background includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Isfahan University of Technology, where teachings encompassed various structural engineering disciplines and supervising several MS students. Kamal holds a PhD in Structural Engineering and a Master of Science in Construction Engineering from the University of Leeds, along with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
