Martin Fleck

Martin Fleck has extensive work experience in the field of medicinal chemistry and project management. Martin is currently employed as the Director of Project Management and a MedChem Specialist at PROTEROS biostructures GmbH since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Boehringer Ingelheim for several years in various roles, including Senior Research Project Leader, Associate Director Medicinal Chemistry, R&D Project Manager, Senior Associate Director, and Research Project Leader. During their time at Boehringer Ingelheim, they led multiple lead optimization and lead identification projects in the areas of immunology and respiratory, resulting in the delivery of two development candidates. Martin also served as the Head of Laboratory and Principal Scientist, overseeing a team of lab scientists. Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Martin worked as a PostDoc at the Technical University Munich and as a Visiting Researcher at the Entropy Control Project in Osaka, Japan. Martin began their career with an internship at Degussa Catalysts & Initiators.

Martin Fleck attended the Technical University of Munich from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Diplom degree in Chemie.
