Mehrdad Mahdian

Mehrdad Mahdian, P.Eng. is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on electrical engineering, particularly in protection and control systems. Currently serving as the Deputy Manager of Engineering and Team Lead - Senior Electrical Engineer at Tetra Tech since June 2019, Mahdian previously held the position of Senior Project Engineer at Virelec Ltd from March 2014 to June 2019, where responsibilities included designing various electrical panels and ensuring quality through testing. Additional experience includes roles as Project Engineer at IDES Canada Inc and Project Technical Manager at PARSIAN HV Substations Development Co., with significant contributions to HV substation design for the Oil and Gas industry. Mahdian holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Power Electrical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and has pursued several advanced certifications, including advanced applications of universal relays and Canadian Electrical Safety Codes.
