Vivian Martin has extensive work experience in purchasing and supply chain management. Vivian began their career at EcoQuest International as a Purchasing Agent and Material Planner and Scheduler. During this time, they successfully reduced premium freight, evaluated supplier performance, and created a master production schedule. Vivian also served as a Public Relations Supervisor, reviewing sales material for compliance.
Afterwards, Vivian worked as a Purchasing Agent at Vollara/Lux Enterprises, where they managed thirteen commodities and established new vendor relations to decrease costs. Vivian then became a Purchasing Manager at ERMCO Inc., where they analyzed purchase requisitions, selected vendors, and secured terms and pricing with sales representatives.
Most recently, Vivian held two roles at TEVET. Initially, they served as a Supply Chain Manager, expediting purchase orders, maintaining purchasing information, and resolving vendor issues. Vivian then transitioned to the role of Accounts Payable and Corporate Account Manager, where they handled sales tax returns, managed funds in bank accounts, and assisted in resolving order and invoice discrepancies.
Throughout their career, Vivian has received several awards and recognitions for their exceptional work, including being named a Lockheed Martin STAR Supplier and Supplier of the Year. Vivian also completed the Crestcom Professional Management Program.
Vivian Martin began their education at Walter State College in 1993 and completed their studies in 1994. During this time, they pursued a field of study in Respiratory Care Therapy/Therapist. After a gap in their education, Vivian then enrolled at the University of Phoenix in 2008 and graduated in 2009. Vivian obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree with a concentration in Business Administration and Management, General.
