Melinda Walter

Melinda Walter possesses extensive experience in human resources, having held various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of People Operations at the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool since May 2021, Melinda previously worked as the Human Resources Director for the City of Sachse, Texas, from April 2017 to May 2021. Prior to that, Melinda held positions at the City of Allen, including Human Resources Manager and HR Analyst, as well as serving as a Compensation Coordinator at Southwest Airlines. Additional experience includes working as an HR Generalist at Collin County and the City of Frisco, and as a Senior Compensation Analyst at the City of Garland. Melinda holds a Master of Public Administration degree from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University.
