Patrick Sterling

Patrick Sterling, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a comprehensive work experience spanning several decades. Patrick began their career in 1987 as a Senior Management Recruiter at Piccadilly Restaurants and held this role until 1994. Following this, Patrick joined Ruby Tuesday as the Director of Human Resources, where they worked until 2004. During their time at Ruby Tuesday, they played a vital role in managing the company's human resources functions. In 2004, Patrick transitioned to Texas Roadhouse, initially as the Senior Director of Legendary People and Risk. In this position, they oversaw risk management programs, including loss prevention, compliance, and claims management. Patrick also managed the company's human resource information systems, payroll, and travel departments. Currently, Patrick serves as the Vice President of Legendary People at Texas Roadhouse, a position they assumed in December 2021.

Patrick Sterling, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Trade and Finance from Louisiana State University, which they completed from 1981 to 1987. In addition to their degree, they hold various certifications, including Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM-SCP from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and SHRM respectively. Patrick also obtained certifications such as Leadership Development & Succession Strategist from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) and Predictive Index Analyst from The Predictive Index. Patrick is a member of several professional organizations, including the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS) and the SHRM Executive Network.
