Paul Schlaud

Paul Schlaud is the General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Enterprise Affairs at Texas Mutual Insurance Company, a role they assumed in April 2022. They oversee corporate strategy and innovation, risk management, marketing, community affairs, enterprise agility, and product management. Before joining Texas Mutual, Paul was a founding partner at Reeves & Brightwell and served as a law clerk for Judge Merrick Garland at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. Paul graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where they also contributed as an editor of the Harvard Law Review. They are a member of the American Law Institute.
