Cathy Donnelly

Cathy Donnelly has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Cathy is currently the Chief People Officer at Texthelp since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Liberty Information Technology as the Senior Director - Talent from September 2017 to January 2022 and as the Human Resources Director from August 2012 to August 2017. Before joining Liberty Information Technology, Donnelly worked at IKEA Ltd. where they held various HR management positions including HR Manager - UK & Ireland from February 2012 to July 2012, HR Operations Manager - UK & Ireland from December 2009 to January 2012, and HR Manager - various sites from September 2006 to November 2009. Cathy started their career at Botanic Inns Ltd. in March 1997 as the Head of HR and remained in that role until August 2006.

Cathy Donnelly began their education in 1989 at Queen's University Belfast, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and French. Cathy completed their undergraduate studies in 1993. Following this, they attended Ulster University from 1993 to 1994, earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Hotel and Tourism Management. In 1996, Cathy returned to Queen's University Belfast, obtaining a CIPD PGD Diploma in Personnel Management, which they completed in 1998. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in HR at Ulster University in 2000, although the end year for this degree is not specified.
