Wassef Tawachi

Wassef Tawachi is a finance professional with extensive experience in the cannabis industry and wealth management. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at THC Design since June 2023, Tawachi previously held the position of VP of Finance & Controller at Elevate Holdings from June 2022 to June 2023. As Co-Founder and CEO of Ciencia Labs from 2019 to September 2022, Tawachi led the development of innovative cannabis products, including a sleep aid brand available in 50 dispensaries across California. Prior to that role, Tawachi was Head of Finance at KushyPunch, where responsibilities included managing a financial team, overseeing a $24 million budget forecast, and developing a five-year expansion strategy. Earlier experience includes serving as Director at First Republic Private Wealth Management and Investment Advisor at Scottrade. Tawachi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
