Hester Pooles

Hester Pooles has a diverse work experience starting in 2007 as a Personal Assistant to the Head of Facilities at Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group. Hester then worked as a Paralegal at Berwin Leighton Paisner in 2010 before taking on a role as a Researcher at 'Trust' by Anthony Seldon. In 2012, they were a Seconded Trainee at Tesco Stores Ltd, followed by a role as a Trainee Solicitor at Berwin Leighton Paisner from 2011 to 2013. Pooles worked briefly as a Solicitor at CBS Outdoor International in 2013 before joining TalkTalk as a Legal Counsel from 2013 to 2017. Hester then became a Senior Legal Counsel at TalkTalk from 2017 to 2019. Most recently, Pooles has worked at The AA, first as a Senior Legal Counsel from 2019 to 2021, then as an Interim Head of Legal from June to August 2021, and currently as the Head of Legal starting in September 2021.

Hester Pooles completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from the University of Bristol from 2005 to 2008. Hester then pursued further studies in Law, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from BPP Law School in 2008-2009. Later on, they attended the College of Law in 2009-2010 to complete the LPC + degree, although the field of study is unspecified.
