Brendan Henrique

Brendan Henrique is a dedicated educational professional with extensive experience in teaching, curriculum development, and educational research. Currently serving as a Math Item Writer at Achievement Network, Brendan has developed over 50 test items aligned with Common Core standards. As a Graduate Student Instructor at the Berkeley Graduate School of Education, Brendan manages a course focusing on the sociocultural aspects of education while engaging undergraduates in fieldwork. Additional roles include contributions as a curriculum developer for SAP, a Science Teacher in the West Contra Costa Unified School District implementing NGSS-aligned curricula, and various instructional positions at UC Berkeley. Brendan holds a PhD in Learning Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, alongside an MA in Urban Education and a BA in Cognitive Science.
