Johnathan Wright

Johnathan Wright has a wide range of work experience in the sports industry. Johnathan began their career in 2020 as a Contributing Writer for GMTM and a Content Editor Intern for the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR). Johnathan also worked as an independent contractor for FanSided, writing Major League Soccer and English Premier League content. In 2021, they took on roles as a Fantasy and Betting Content Creator for NBC Sports Next, a Fantasy and Betting Writer for ClutchPoints, and a Customer Operations Agent for FanDuel. In 2022, they began working for Action Network as a Marketing Editor and Soccer Betting Analyst, as well as for Major League Soccer as a Content Producer. In this role, they oversaw daily content production for MLSsoccer.com, managed a staff of freelancers, implemented the content strategy for MLS Fantasy and social media channels, and collaborated with the media team to brainstorm story and video ideas.

Johnathan Wright obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pan-African Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from the University of Louisville between 2014 and 2018. In 2020, they began pursuing a Master's degree in Sport Business with a Concentration in Sports Analytics from Temple University's School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
