Mia K.

Mia K. is a Data Analytics Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation since August 2023, following a previous internship as a TAC Surveillance Group Technical Intern in 2022. During that internship, Mia developed a database for US military bases and worked with GIS mapping, assessed sensor data using MATLAB, and generated spectral plots with Python. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Operations and Data Analyst Intern for the University of San Francisco Baseball Quantitative Studies Team, where Mia managed data logistics and performed analytics on pitching statistics. Earlier technical internship experience at The Aerospace Corporation involved designing solutions for processing satellite data and conducting an independent project in Python. Mia holds a Master's in Data Science from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science in Data Science from the University of San Francisco.
