Lauren Liles, CMP, DES, currently serves as the Senior Director of Event Operations & Experience at The American Institute of Architects (AIA) since March 2022. Prior to this role, Lauren was the Director of Strategic Events at 2U from March 2020 to February 2022 and spent over 12 years at SHRM in various positions, culminating in the role of Director of Event Management and Logistics. In this capacity, Lauren managed a team supporting numerous specialty conferences and the SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition, overseeing substantial budgets and logistics for large-scale events. Earlier experience includes roles at the American Society of Hematology, where Lauren was involved in coordinating meetings and events. Lauren holds a BBA in Hospitality & Tourism Management from James Madison University.
