Ahmed Nagy has extensive work experience in the field of security and network administration. Ahmed started their career in 2005 as a Technical Support Team Lead at Maxor Technologies, where they provided technical support for customers in the banking sector. Ahmed also conducted training for field engineers and researched new technologies. In 2007, Ahmed joined The American University in Cairo as a Network Administrator. During their time there, they deployed and configured network equipment, assisted in a major network renovation project, and designed and installed a wireless network system. In 2016, Ahmed was promoted to the role of Senior Officer, Security Systems at the university, where they were responsible for managing security systems and conducting research on new security technologies. In 2020, they were promoted to the position of Director, Operations Planning and Security Systems, where they oversee various security systems and leads investigations.

Ahmed Nagy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Cairo University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005.
