Senior Construction Engineer - Civil at The Arab Contractors

Sherif Ashraf Mowafy is a Senior Construction Engineer specializing in civil engineering, with extensive experience in dam engineering and large-scale infrastructure projects. Currently involved with the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project since January 2022, Sherif has played a crucial role in the fast-track development of a 2115 MW hydropower plant and associated dam on the Rufiji River in Tanzania. Through a collaboration involving The Arab Contractors and Elsewedy Electric, Sherif has leveraged expertise in earthworks and roller compacted concrete (RCC) for critical components of the project. Sherif's prior roles at The Arab Contractors included significant contributions to various construction ventures, such as a commercial mall and a mosque, alongside pivotal site engineering work in Mansoura's new city development. Sherif's career commenced as a Junior Site Engineer at Eladl Sunset Development, focusing on building construction and finishing works, following the attainment of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Mansoura University.
