Rhonda Gerding, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Finance and Benefits at The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region since February 2020. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Controller at Notre Dame of Maryland University from February 2019 to February 2020, and over a decade as an Accountant/Auditor at both Leo Knighton, CPA and Mergler & Clark, P.A., focusing on nonprofit organizations and the insurance industry, respectively. Rhonda's earlier career also includes significant positions at Stevenson University, Stegman and Company, and Clifton Gunderson LLP, where responsibilities encompassed audit supervision, financial statement preparation, and various accounting functions. Rhonda holds a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Appalachian State University.

The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region assists people with developmental disabilities to identify and pursue personally valued lives. The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region is a private, non-profit local chapter of The Arc of Maryland and The Arc of The United States, the largest volunteer organization in the world devoted exclusively to improving the quality of life for all adults and children with mental retardation and their families. It is an affiliate agency of The United Way of Central Maryland and The United Way of Cecil County.
