Nadir ALKAN

Nadir ALKAN has a comprehensive work experience in software engineering and architecture. Nadir is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at TAG: The Ashley Group since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Toptal as a Software Architect from September 2021 to November 2022. In this role, they developed microservices using Quarkus and Kotlin for dynamic forms and created microservices to replace existing services in a monolithic codebase. Before Toptal, they worked at Crossover for Work as a Software Architect from February 2018 to February 2021, where they successfully completed multiple projects and graduated from a bootcamp.

Before that, Nadir ALKAN worked at OBSS as a Senior Manager from September 2015 to February 2018. Nadir served as a Java Software Architect for BKM, where they worked on software systems related to BKM Express products. These systems had over 1 million users and millions of online payment transactions, with integrations with other country-wide companies.

Prior to OBSS, they were a Team Leader at Cybersoft from April 2014 to July 2015, where they led a team of 10+ members and managed the consumer loans module of Şekerbank, a national bank in Turkey.

Nadir started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at EDAK Ecza Koop. from December 2012 to July 2013, where they were involved in a software separation project for a sub company of Edak, integrating with Netsis based on Java.

Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Teknokom A.Ş. for over 6 years from April 2005 to September 2012. Nadir gained expertise in Java, web, and PL SQL technologies during this time.

Nadir Alkan completed their high school education at Balıkesir Fen Lisesi from 1996 to 2000, achieving a grade point average of 4.32. Nadir subsequently pursued their higher education at Ege University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science from 2000 to 2006.
