Antonio Garcia Maldonado

Antonio Garcia Maldonado currently serves as Principal of the Strategic Investment Fund at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, leveraging a $2.5 billion portfolio to support innovative entrepreneurs and companies in global health and development since April 2020. In addition, Antonio is a member of the Society of Fellows at The Aspen Institute. Prior experience includes a role as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan, focusing on the Technology, Media and Telecom sectors as well as healthcare, and working as a Private Equity Off-Cycle Investment Analyst at Rothschild & Co. Antonio's educational background includes a dual Bachelor’s in Law and Economics from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, and studies at prestigious institutions such as The London School of Economics, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Sciences Po, and Harvard University.
