Emily Jusino

Assistant Director, Office of Curriculum & Moderators at The Aspen Institute

Emily Jusino, PhD, PMP, currently serves as the Assistant Director in the Office of Curriculum and Moderators at The Aspen Institute since May 2023. Previously, Emily held the position of Director of Finance and Expenses (Volunteer) at PMI Rochester from January 2023 to June 2024, where responsibilities included auditing monthly expense reports and coordinating with the finance team. From July 2015 to June 2022, Emily was an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester, managing multiple research projects, mentoring undergraduate students, and contributing to course development in the Classics program. Additional academic roles include Visiting Assistant Professor positions at Duke University (July 2014 - June 2015) and earlier at the University of Rochester, complemented by leadership experience as Director of the Governor's Latin Academy from January 2009 to July 2012. Emily earned a PhD and an MA in Classics from the University of Chicago, along with a BA in Theater and Classics from William & Mary.
